This is Dreamer. It's just me playing the tenor saxophone, tanpura, harmonium, gong, Tibetan singing bowls, and some shakers and bells. Recorded in April 2018 at Wedgeview Studios in The Netherlands, by master musician Udo Pannekeet. This music hopes to bring you to a state of relaxation rather than one of excitement. Peter and I have been wanting to record a selection of John Coltrane compositions for many years. We finally spent some time in Peter’s backyard studio just before and after the pandemic recording Compassion. On a few tunes, we invited Renato Martins, the Brazilian master percussionist.
